I hope you are well and staying healthy. Congrats to Andy Sisk and Adrian O’Sullivan for very impressive golf at Hulencourt and Limburg last weekend. A big thanks to the two clubs for managing to fit us in at such short notice after our scheduled events at L’Empereur and Pierpont had to be cancelled. Not bad replacements and the weather was very mild too. We can’t reward these fine rounds as we are not allowed to hold competitions but I am glad to see that park and play rules are being well followed by all. We are however managing to maintain a virtual Winter Cup and it’s great to see the healthy number of participants – very early days and lots of golf to play but you can follow all the moves and updates on the website.
Although we are not able to hold competitions we have been able to clarify with the Federation that we are able to enter the scores from these friendly rounds for your World Handicap System (WHS). If you click on the WHS icon on your I-golf home-page you can find out lots of stats and details about your scores and how they affect your handicap. If you prefer that we don’t enter your scores please let us know in advance.
For the weekend golf to come we will be at Hulencourt again on Sat14th and Enghien on Sunday 15th November. We have space for a maximum of 18 players on each day so please register in I-golf early to avoid risk of disappointment.
In the meantime enjoy the Masters golf which starts on Thursday….
